Engine Run Time Cable

The functionality of the SX1 is enhanced through the serial USB port with options such as the SX1 Engine Run Time (ERT) assembly, which is used to monitor and report hours of engine run operation.

The ERT assembly is an armored wiring harness approximately 10 feet in length. One end connects to the SX1 device located in view of the sky. The other end attaches to automotive power (12-24VDC). The USB connector is water resistant and the components are all encapsulated in adhesive lined heat shrink tubing for weather resistant use.

The SX1 may be configured to measure and report hours of run-time as long as automotive power is applied. When power is discontinued, run time accumulation is suspended.

Engine run data is reported in Engineering Message reports in one hour block resolution. The frequency can be adjusted to report days, hours, or minutes.
